Anna usually wakes up at seven o’clock. She always makes coffee and eats toast for breakfast. She works as a nurse at a local hospital.
Today is different. Anna is not working at the hospital. She is taking a day off. Right now, she is sitting in a cafe near her house. She is drinking tea and reading a magazine.
Her friend Laura is sitting next to her. Laura works in an office. She usually starts work at nine, but today she is not working either. They are talking about their plans for the weekend.
Anna usually spends her weekends with her family. She visits her parents on Saturday afternoons. On Sundays, she goes for a long walk in the park. But this weekend is different. She is organising a birthday party for her sister.
At the moment, Anna and Laura are looking at a list of things they need to buy. Anna is writing notes on her phone. They are planning to go shopping this afternoon.
