Last Saturday, something very strange happened to me. I woke up early and decided to go for a walk in the forest near my house.
I took my backpack and put some water and a sandwich inside. The weather was sunny and warm. I walked along the path for about an hour.
Suddenly, I heard a noise behind me. I turned around but I saw nothing. I continued walking. Then I heard the noise again. It sounded like footsteps.
I stopped and looked around carefully. Between the trees, I saw a small deer. It watched me for a moment and then ran away quickly. I laughed because I felt a little silly.
I sat down on a big rock and ate my sandwich. After that, I walked back home. When I arrived, I told my family about the deer. They smiled and said I was very lucky to see one so close.
It was a strange but wonderful morning. I will never forget it.
