James and Lisa are at a restaurant for dinner. The waiter brings the menu and pours some water into their glasses.
“Could we have a few minutes to decide?” James asks politely.
“Of course,” the waiter replies.
Lisa looks at the menu. “I would like a little soup to start. The tomato soup sounds delicious. Then I will have the grilled fish with some vegetables.”
James wants something more filling. “I will have a lot of pasta, please. And could I get a salad as well? I would like plenty of dressing on it.”
The waiter nods. “Would you like any drinks?”
“Could we have a bottle of water, please?” Lisa asks. “And can I have a cup of coffee after the meal?”
“Certainly,” the waiter says. “Would you like any dessert? We have a little chocolate cake left, or plenty of fresh fruit.”
Lisa smiles. “I do not have much space left, but a little fruit would be nice.”
James laughs. “I have plenty of space. Could I have a large piece of cake, please?”
