Some people love the smell of paper books, while others prefer the convenience of digital readers. Both formats have advantages, so it is worth considering what matters most to you.
Printed books do not need batteries, and they never crash. You can lend them to friends easily, and they look beautiful on your shelves. However, they take up space and can be heavy to carry.
E-books are cheaper, and you can store thousands on one small device. You can read them in the dark because the screen lights up. Yet many readers say that they get distracted more easily on a screen, and they miss the physical experience of turning pages.
I enjoy both. I buy printed novels for relaxing at home because I like the traditional feel. I download e-books for travelling since they are lighter and more convenient. Neither format is perfect, but each serves a different purpose.
